A special edition of KUSA’S “Broncos Huddle” added live fan voting to the celebratory broadcast

NEW YORK (February 11, 2016) –  Megaphone TV’s Emmy(R)-award winning audience engagement products were featured live on Tegna’s KUSA-TV in Denver during a special Post-Super Bowl 50 edition of “Broncos Huddle” with Ronnie Hillman.

By entering a simple URL on a computer or mobile device, (without requiring a separate app download), viewers received live poll questions and registered votes by pressing a button on their screen. The polls ran in real-time and results were displayed simultaneously on-air and on mobile devices or on any computer web browser.

During the broadcast, audiences received opportunities to directly join in the on-set discussion and play the fantasy role of Broncos GM John Elway, deciding which of the Broncos free agents Brock Osweiler, Malik Jackson, or Danny Trevathan should be Elway’s priority to re-sign for the 2016-2017 season.

Fans also had a chance to recall previous Bronco Super Bowls and the announcing of KOA’s veteran Dave Logan. Viewers were invited live to judge which of the last three Denver appearing Super Bowls that Logan announced was their favorite.

Bronco superfans also had a voice to compare the Super Bowl 50-winning defense with the winning teams from 1997 and 1977.

“After the audience watched a thrilling Broncos victory parade on KUSA, the celebrations continued by participating live on television with fellow fans,” said Dan Albritton, CEO of Megaphone TV. “Megaphone technologies are tailor-made for the sports fan.  We are thrilled to have been part of a successful launch, bringing excellent viewer engagement for KUSA.”
