Dylan Schefter interviews Baker Mayfield after he won the Megaphone TV powered Nickelodeon NVP award.

For their annual NFL collaboration, Megaphone TV was selected as the audience engagement and real-time fan voting platform for the Nickelodeon NVP award.

The NFL and Nickelodeon broadcast took a festive twist in 2022, as the event was moved into the holiday season with the first annual NFL Nickmas Game.

Nickelodeon aired their family-friendly, slime-filled NFL broadcast as the Denver Broncos took on the Los Angeles Rams on Christmas Day.

Hosted by Nickelodeon stars Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Young Dylan, and the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants’ Bill Fagerbakke, the show has become an important event for CBS Sports and the NFL to expand football coverage to younger audiences.

These kinds of live, high-stakes engagements often stump broadcasters and their technology partners, but Megaphone TV’s rock-solid infrastructure and customer support ensured this important broadcast went off without a hitch.

In the end, the Rams’ quarterback Baker Mayfield was voted the fan favorite.

Congratulations to the NFL, Nickelodeon, and CBS Sports for a fantastically slimy show!
